“YOLO” stands for “You only live once”. When you think about it literally, the acronym proves to be true. I stand by this saying as it serves as a reminder to me that you shouldn’t waste the precious time we all have. This means living in the moment and making the most of things. At times throughout this past year, I’ve found myself struggling with procrastination and completing things to the best of my ability; however, I’m laying it upon myself to focus more on the things that are meaningful to me rather than spreading myself thin. It’s important to recognize mistakes, and when you’re overworking yourself as it shows you’re ready to grow. I’m ready to begin doing things with integrity and going all in. Additionally, the feeling of fulfillment and accomplishment you are encumbered with when you work and do things you enjoy efficiently is like no other. So, I’m ready to live true to the saying “YOLO” and make the most of the time we have, regardless of the circumstances.
