Known as one of the most difficult classes, AP Chemistry certainly proves intimidating to incoming students. By reading this guide, hopefully you will feel a little more prepared to embark on your journey!
Normal Classes:
Classes are usually filled with lectures and occasional practice problems. There is one lab per unit where you can put your newfound knowledge to use. As the units become more difficult, Gargi Verma will give quizzes every class to test your understanding of the previously assigned reading in the textbook (but it sounds like you only read if there is a quiz).
Study Tips:
To prepare for the exam, my friends recommended YouTubers like JeremyKrug and the Organic Chemistry Tutor. Additionally, Khan Academy and AP Classroom are great ways to practice exam-like questions. Make sure you always review the questions you got wrong. Finally, purchasing a review book or having a study buddy will supplement in-class knowledge.
