Cere Tea Review pt 2

By Amanda Bradshaw

After a satisfactory visit last issue, my sister Samantha Bradshaw and I went back for another Cere Tea taste test, on the hunt to try more of the menu. Accompanied by Lucia Vilchez and Ben Kiznyte, we each tried new items including matcha, fruit tea, latte, and tornado drinks.

Matcha Strawberry 9/10 – Samantha Bradshaw

  • It was my first time trying matcha and I loved the strawberry flavor mixed in
  • The matcha didn’t taste like grass at all, and I’m excited to have it again!

Osmanthus Latte 9/10 – Lucia Vilchez

  • The osmanthus flowers tasted good but it was strange to have a different texture in coffee
  • The latte was nice overall, not too sweet and not too bitter

Hibiscus Strawberry 9/10 – Samantha Bradshaw

  • This drink was so good and fresh, and when I went back they were out of stock
  • It’s not too sweet and was way better than a Starbucks refresher

Fruit Tornado Strawberry 8/10 – Amanda Bradshaw

  • The drink was good and not too sweet, and the boba had a good texture
  • Because I got mine with caffeine mine had a bit of a weird aftertaste, so I recommend getting the non caffeine version if you want a truer strawberry flavor for this drink

Strawberry Lemon Tea 8/10 – Ben Kiznyte

  • Tasted like lemon tea with a hint of strawberry
  • Reminds me of a lemonade drink and doesn’t have that strong of a flavor
  • Overall it was good, and there were chunks of lemon
