Located in Pomona, California State Polytechnic University Pomona—known as Cal Poly Pomona—remains one of the best colleges in the United States for engineering. The college’s tuition is around eight thousand dollars in state and around twenty thousand dollars out of state. With its extraordinary education and cute campus, Cal Poly Pomona drew in two Westmont students last year: Kiarra D’Archangelo and Samantha Dee. A fun fact about Cal Poly Pomona is that every year, in a combined effort with Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, students create a beautiful rose float, which is featured in the Annual New Year’s Rose Parade at Pomona, Los Angeles!
