Westmont’s badminton team has begun the season with a humble record of 2-2, but with six more games to go, the team strives to reach a score of 10-2 by the end of the season. Although the record may not be as impressive as previous years when the team had multiple undefeated records, a few players currently hold a 100% win rate amongst their own games. Today, I plan to highlight these players and crown them as the “Baddies of Badminton” to appreciate their work for the team. Firstly, the senior boys’ doubles duo Jordan Kwong and Kenneth Lin — the two captains dubbed as “the wives” — have been playing with one another for three years now. With years of experience built up with one another, the two have been the spearheads of the team with their flawless record throughout the season so far. The next duo who consist of sophomores Juno Belanger and Arthur Wang are the last two Baddies that hold a current 100% win record so far in the season. Although these players are the baddies of the team, the rest of the team have been working as hard. Make sure to join them on Senior Night on May 2, 6 PM in the gym.
