Warriors Boys Tennis Preview

By Mason Vargas

With the season about to start, the Westmont boys’ tennis team is getting ready to compete. Led by captains Rags Subramaniam and Kai Wang, the team has 10 varsity players, with four singles players and three doubles pairs. They also have four JV players. The team’s main goal this season is to improve. Whether it’s serves, forehands, backhands, or fitness, everyone wants to become better than they were at the start. They’re also working on building team spirit and keeping each other’s confidence high. This year, the team moved up to the A-League, meaning the competition will be tougher. Still, they’re hoping to work hard, win matches, and possibly make it to CCS. The boys are excited to get started and see how far they can go this season!
