Welcome back to another Happy Lemon Taste-test! If you’re new here, this is a series where we try new drinks at Happy Lemon, rate, and review them. Here are our orders this time!
Maya:
Order: Boba milk tea w/ pearls
Rating: 8.5/10
This drink was surprisingly very good! I really enjoyed the comforting and familiar taste it brought. The pearls could really shine in this drink, creating a cohesive experience in every sip. I did think the drink itself was a little too sweet for me, so I would definitely get 50% sweetness next time instead of 75%. Overall, though, this drink was great and exactly what I would want from a boba milk tea. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something familiar and sweet!
Delaney:
Order: Yakult Lemon Slushy w/ boba
Rating: 8/10
Surprisingly, I liked this drink! Usually, I do not like the taste of yakult, but I think it paired really well with the lemon in the slushy. As always, the lycee jello that comes with the drink pairs great with the lemon and adds just a hint of flavor. Recently, I have been very into the lemon slushy drinks, so I will most likely order this one again!
