As February 14th approaches, I like to listen to cutesy, cheerful, love songs to get into a Valentine’s Day mood! These songs are some of my favorites, and if you ever enter my car, you will see me passionately vocalizing (in a very off tune key) to these songs! I’m not joking, you can ask any of my friends, or specifically Gio Arteaga (I’m pretty sure he has some footage of me horribly singing somewhere). The following songs are ranked from least to most favorite, even though I love all of them with my entire being!
7. Daylight – Taylor Swift
Lovely and calming, this song makes me feel good inside every time I listen to it!
6. Valentine – Laufey
A very slow and meaningful song that never fails to make me yearn for love.
5. From The Start – Laufey
A cutesy, gleeful love song, which makes me feel all gooey inside!
4. Pick Your Brain – Lyn Lapid
A chill yet sincere song, Lyn Lapid’s vocals are simply splendid in this song, and makes Pick Your Brain a must-listen!
3. Love – Keyshia Cole
A classic. If you don’t listen to this song on Valentine’s Day, you are missing out!
2. Lil’ Love Song – Tash
A less well known, but equally lovely song. Tash’s amazing vocals combined with the catchy beat of the song makes Lil’ Love Song extremely addicting!
1. Poster Boy – Lyn Lapid
My all time favorite love song. It honestly isn’t so much about love than about a crush at first sight, but I am so besotted with this song that I am putting it on here anyways. This song always brings such happy and energetic vibes, so I highly recommend listening to it on Valentine’s Day!
