Welcome to a new series on the Eats page! Here we are going to try different orders from Happy Lemon and rate them! We are so excited to try new orders and expand our palates! For our first times, we both ordered our usuals, but in later issues, we are going to branch out a lot more.
Maya Bourne:
Order: Mango Yakult Smoothie with boba and an Original Waffle
Rating: 10/10
This order is my favorite ever! I love mango smoothies with all my heart, and this particular one balances the sweetness of the mango with the subtle creaminess of the yakult flawlessly. I get my smoothie 50% sweet, so when you drink it, the sweetness isn’t overwhelming, but there is still a nice flavor. I would definitely recommend this drink to anyone hoping for something sweet and refreshing. I love to get this smoothie on warm summer days, or as a pick-me-up in the long winter months. The original waffle is also delectable, though I did have to wait an extra 10 minutes for it, so keep that in mind. The waffle has a fun and unique shape, making it fun to eat and pleasing to the eye. I will caution, though, that the waffle does get soggy somewhat quickly, so make sure you gobble it down before it gets to that point! Definitely pull up to Happy Lemon and try these delicious drinks for yourself!

Order: Mango Passionfruit Green Tea with boba and an Original Waffle

This order is my ride or die. I go to Happy Lemon very often, and I can only recall one time I have ever changed my order. The refreshing tea and the crunchy passion fruit seeds are so delectable. Like almost any order at Happy Lemon, you can adjust the ice levels, sugar levels, and have other toppings, or no toppings. It is up to you! You can adjust this order to fit your standards, but I get mine with less ice since I am a sipper, not a chugger. I highly recommend it! As for the original waffle, it is a classic. The shape and taste is very unique. This is a comfort food of mine and you should give it a try if you get the chance!
