Like most, I don’t like to eat breakfast. Either I’ve slept in and am rushing to school or simply not hungry at 7:30 in the morning. As expected, quickly into the first period I regret not grabbing something on the go and tend to end up eating whatever snacks are in my backpack that day. Regardless of the solutions I’ve developed around eating cereal at school through a thermos or bringing more food to school, nothing is as effective as just eating a solid breakfast. I’ve never loved bagels, however over this last summer, my morning routine gradually started to include a stop at Noah’s Bagels before taking off for the day. Picking some up before heading to the beach for a picnic or a long car drive to a soccer game, these bagels have been my saving grace. The sheer amount of options about the types of bagels, shmears, and sandwiches, it is impossible to not find one you love. The only issue I have with Noah’s Bagels is their closing time. Opening at 3 am, a convenient time for those who work early shifts, but closing at 2, leaves me unable to get the delectable bagels I crave unless I get up early or until the weekend and early releases. So if you see me hustling to my car on minimum or collab days, just know, I’m just trying to get some bagels.
