This season, the girl’s tennis team hopes to strike gold and have a great time together. Previously coaching girls’ tennis and boys’ tennis current head coach, Paul Slaverio returns to fall season to help coach the girl’s team once again this year. Slaverio has had great success in both the girls’ and boys’ tennis programs winning multiple league championships. Through dedication and hard work, the team hopes to score big and win more games than their previous season. Senior Hewan Tafari anticipatingly looks forward to “more team bondings and practice.” Placed in the Blossom Valley Santa Teresa league, the team will face opponents such as Prospect, Willow Glen, Yerba Buena, and others. Come support the girls at their home game on September 26 against Pioneer!
