As the temperature begins to fall and pumpkin spice fills the air, we approach homecoming season yet again! This year, board games take center stage as our theme for the week, and students will find “Sweet Escape” at our Candyland-themed dance on Saturday night. Wednesday September 18 – Hoco Court Talent Show
Come watch your Homecoming Court members perform on the stage at lunch!
Thursday September 19 – Freshman/Sophomore Powerpuff
Freshmen and sophomore powerpuff football and cheer teams will face off in the bowl at lunch. Wear your class colors to support your team!
Monday September 23 – Sweet Dreams Dress Up Day
No need to change this morning! Come to school in your comfiest pajamas!
Tuesday September 24 – Connect 4 Dress Up Day + Underclassmen Lip Sync
Match with at least four of your friends to symbolize this iconic board game, and don’t forget to come support the underclassmen in the quad at lunch!
Wednesday September 25 – Game of Life Dress Up Day + Upperclassmen Powerpuff
Dress as a barbeque dad, soccer mom, or baby! Come on down to bowl at lunch to watch the upperclassmen face off, with a special cheer performance at halftime from the seniors.
Thursday September 26 – Battleship Dress Up Day + Upperclassmen Lip Sync + Rally
Deck out in your class color to battle the other classes! Don’t miss the upperclassmen performing at lunch in the quad, and make sure to come to the rally at 7 p.m. in the gym for some amazing games and performances!
Friday September 27 – Checkers Dress Up Day + Sign Making + Football Game
Let’s go warriors! Show off your Westmont pride to finish out the week and stop by the quad at lunch to make some posters. Don’t forget to cheer on our team as we face off against Piedmont Hills at 7 p.m. in the bowl!
Saturday September 28 – A Sweet Escape
The long-awaited night will be a blast! Arrive at 7 p.m. for our homecoming dance, and make sure to wear semi-formal attire. Remember: no heels on the gym floor! You can bring a guest, but don’t forget to get a guest pass filled out as early as possible. Be prepared for amazing games, crafts, food, photo booths, and dancing!
