Climbing the Workload

By Blake Kim

a mountain of tasks, standing tall,

once kept me up, afraid to fall.

i’d put it off, another day,

but the load got heavier, in every way.

procrastination, a tempting call,

i thought it was relief, but it gave nothing at all.

so i learned to face the climb,

step by step, one task at a time.

each challenge met, each fear undone,

i found the strength to get my work done.

no more delay, no more defeat,

i climbed the mountain and felt complete.
