As of May 21, 22, and 24, Westmont Theatre’s One Act Play Festival has made its annual appearance. All shows were chosen, directed, and performed by members of the various performance based theatre classes, and designed by Technical Theatre One students.
Four shows were from our Advanced Theatre class, with Mixed Doubles directed by Ethan Li, Free Parking directed by Nisitha Kakulapati, Dinner With the MacGuffins directed by Anna Genna, and Incognito directed by Zachary Kessler. Two more shows were from Theatre One, with The Demon directed by Mehda Karre, and Constellations directed by Souyer Salman. One show was from Musical Theatre, The Wizard of Oz, directed by Kaylie Montoya.
As the last performance-based theatre event of the year, the One Act Play Festival is a way to exhibit some of the work that has been done in Theatre classes over the year. Thank you to all who came to support our shows!
