Fearless leader, Bryce Hadley has so far led the Westmont softball team through a challenging, one-of-a-kind season. After losing so many seniors last year, the team this year is made up of just as many freshmen as it is seniors! Despite this age gap, the girls are learning to play hard with one another and improving every day. The team’s biggest win yet was during the Salinas tournament when they played Soquel High School, winning 18-0! Pitchers Regan Steele, Natalie Saenz and Melia Andrade have been locking down the team’s defense while big hitters, Ellie Rodhouse, Lily Ortiz, and Madeline Crowley lead the team in batting averages. Senior night for these softball stars will take place at 4pm at Westmont on May 10th against the Willow Glen rams! Come out to show support and watch as a 12 year long softball career comes to an end for them.
