All American is a CW TV series, filled with football, tennis, and drama. The first few seasons dealt with the issues of gang violence, forcing viewers to recognize the struggles gang members face. Similarly, this show demonstrates that even with a hard uprising, it is possible to do spectacular things. There are tricky relationships and football plays that keep you on the edge of your seat. All American is undoubtedly a top 10 show on Netflix. Season 6 of All American came out on April 1, 2024; as a result, I have decided to make a recap of past seasons for all avid viewers (Spoilers ahead)!
Season 5 of All American leaves us off at many cliffhangers: Jaymee Aquino’s pregnancy, Jordan’s proposal to Layla Keating, a new football season on the rise, and Olivia Baker’s visit to London. Most importantly, this season leaves us with Patience removing a knife from her stomach, reclining onto the floor, and patiently waiting for someone to rescue her. These cliffhangers ensure that all viewers binge the next season, in hopes of watching Patience resolve her conflicts with her creepy fan. We must also hope Olivia returns soon, so the awkward friendship between her and Spencer can bloom into a spectacularly beautiful relationship.
Clearly, All American is a spectacular show, and I am excited to procrastinate, filling my spring break with touchdowns and twists.
