The Superbowl took place almost a month ago and the loss still hurts. The 49ers, the GOATS, took on both the Chiefs and the Referees in the finale of the NFL’s Superbowl LVIII. With unfortunate losses, such as Dre Greenlaw’s injury, the 49ers were beaten 22-25 in the brand-new Las Vegas stadium. Between their training at a horrible college facility, instead of the actual NFL stadium like the Chiefs; a fire alarm being pulled in the hotel they stayed, disrupting their sleep; and not having a single holding call in their favor, nobody should be surprised about the outcome. Just thinking about the fact that the game was ultimately scripted in order to have Taylor Swift win simply enrages me. To all of the United States residents, watching as the Kansas City Cheats beat the much more deserving 49ers and the upstart Brock Purdy, put a damper on the mood surrounding the NFL, which has been rebuilding itself since the virus outbreak. The 49ers haven’t won a Superbowl since 1995, yet they’ve been in the Superbowl 5 times since then and haven’t won a single time. Being a 49ers fan is like being a Cowgirls fan, you watch as your team does well in the regular season just to throw it all away come playoff time. Needless to say, I will not be watching the playoffs next year if the 49ers don’t make it, and should they lose the Superbowl again you most likely will not hear from me again.
