After a long-awaited time, Ye—better known as Kanye West—released his album Vultures 1 featuring Ty Dolla Sign. This hip-hop/rap album was released on February 9, 2024 on Apple Music and Feb 10 on Spotify, containing 15 songs and a total of 52 minutes. This album was just okay. Out of the 15 songs, only two made the album “CARNIVAL” and “BEG FORGIVENESS”. This album left many fans disappointed saying it’s “mid” and “we miss the old Kanye.” The Vultures 1 album didn’t just leave his fans unhappy; they also left Taylor Swift fans unhappy. Kanye mentions her in “CARNIVAL” saying, “Why she says she sucked my d*** / Then she say she ain’t sucked my d*** / She gon’ take it up the** like a ventriloquist / I have made six Taylor Swift since I had the Rollie on the wrist.” Many “Swifties” were quick to comment about his lyrics, saying “he’s obsessed” and “he’s just jealous.” Although this album wasn’t the best, many are excited for the future of Kanye’s music and his next album.
