If you need anything from Sasya Reddy, just hit her up ‘cause she is probably awake. Operating during school hours and random portions throughout the night, Sasya is most likely doing Calc AB work or on Canva cooking up an Instagram post. She, like I, can survive off of minuscule hours of brain rest. Taking on ASB as media head, fearlessly leading Indesign Club as President, and spending 28 hours a day painting the Class of 2024’s banner, it is no wonder this superstar is up for so many hours. Why sleep when you could be up posting on the Westmont Instagram at 3 am!?
Intrigued to find out more, I interviewed Sasya, who was ready to give me the scoop on her wacky sleep schedule.
What time do you go to bed?
3 am!
What does the average 10 pm to 7 am look like for you on a school week?
10 pm is usually when I start my homework, from 10 to 12 I like to also watch a TV show or movie. Homework lasts around two hours, and I will usually fall asleep by 2 am. During this time I pick out my outfits! I wake up at 6:30 am for ASB.
Are you concerned about your sleeping habits?
I am worried about the long-term aging process… I need more sleep and water.
What is the best part about this schedule you have adapted to?
All I do after school is do extracurriculars and hang out with friends, after 10 pm I hunker down to begin school work.
It takes a lot to be unanimously nominated and voted for this Wally Award, but if anyone deserves it, it is Ms. Barbie, Sasya Reddy.
