Have you ever heard a more beautiful phrase than “Magically Delicious!”? Never before has an advertisement been so accurate, so awe-inspiring, and so successful at selling their product (except perhaps the Slap Chop infomercial but, truly, who can compare to that?).
Lucky charms hold a very important part in our morning routines. Full of sugar and joy, Lucky Charms bring us closer as sisters and family every time we sit to eat it together. Of course, we fight when someone steals extra marshmallows, or when someone takes the rest of the milk, but can we truly blame the Lucky Charms?
The wonder-filled cereal has never let us down, from breakfasts to lunches to dinners to second dinners and even as a dessert. Never staying around for long enough to properly put into a container, Lucky Charms can instead be found in bags stuffed into the cupboard, a delightful treat stored precariously.
Our favorite part of the sweet treat is, obviously, the rainbow marshmallows sprinkled in, melting into the milk to turn it a mysterious, murky green and delighting the senses beyond only taste. You could argue our childlike joy in this basic cereal results from its rarity (we are only allowed to eat it when Averi scores goals in a soccer game) but no matter what, the truth remains: Lucky Charms are, and have always been, “Magically Delicious.”
