Forest Hill and Band Survivors

By Anna Genna

At my table sit Celena Pirkl, Kendall Ho, and Kiarra D’Arcangelo, with the spirit of Bianca Schultz, who is not dead, just at Jazz Club or her off period. (I could only have four people at my table, Bianca, bear with me, I will write an article about you soon.) This group, who met at Forest Hill and became close at Rolling Hills because we all were in band, are some of the best people in my life. Sitting together at lunch, we talk about anything and everything, never failing to break into laughter at least once.

Celena and I, who has a running note on her phone of each day Kendall successfully opens a banana, are probably the loudest of the group, constantly bickering, despite that one MBTI test that told us we would be good in a relationship together.

Kiarra and Kendall, who play too many sports (I can’t talk, literally all I do is theatre), tell very passionate stories of said sports, and judge Celena and me when we subsequently interrupt with our antics.

With the spirit of Bianca watching over us, this group brings so much chaos and laughter to my life, brightening up even the worst of days. To my fellow Forest Hill and Band survivors, thank you so much for being in my life, and letting me rant about theatre.
