This year TikTok trends have become bigger than ever with new contact creators every week, a TikTok shop opening up, and many trending dumb videos. With that being said there have been many TikTok trends that were either weird, funny, or just stupid. Let’s recap!

NPC impersonations:

This TikTok trend started with Pinkdollreal who began going live and acting like a  NPC. Many were fascinated as to how she was so good at it and it looked so real. Soon after many people began going live and doing the same thing this became a thing that many people hopped on because of the amount of money Pinkydoll made. 

Girl dinners: 

Girl Dinner TikTok Trend Explained: Dietitians React

Girl dinners first started when a girl posted a video showing her meal—a mix of random foods— with a voice in the background. Many girls found this relatable and posted videos with the same sound and showing off their girl dinner.

Wednesday Addams dance:

How Jenna Ortega's 'Wednesday' Dress Was Hacked for Viral Dance Moves – WWD

This dance became a thing due to the infamous dance that appeared on the Wednesday Addams show on Netflix. With the songBloody Mary” by Lady Gaga, many people started replicating this dance and acting like Wednesday in the scene.

Rhianna super bowl recreate:

This trend started due to Rhianna’s halftime show in the Superbowl, specifically, the moment when Rhianna gets down on her hands and knees with her backup dancer. Many loved it and recreated it.

Do you feel Bonita?

The “I Feel the Bonita” trend turned into a viral sound. Bonita means beautiful. This audio was taken from “Family Guy” This TikTok trend is supposed to make anyone feel Bonita.

Dumb ways to die:

DUMB WAYS TO DIE | TIKTOK COMPILATION - YouTube

This dark TikTok trend dumb ways to die was created for a metro train announcement, but when TikTok creators heard this sound it went viral in an instant. People began to add failed, dangerous, and injury-causing mess-ups to the sound.

Dance mom pyramid:

The Dance Mom trend came from a clip from the earlier seasons of “Dance Moms” where Abby Lee names everyone on the pyramid. Many people found this hilarious and started to make their pyramid and record using this sound.

Seven dance challenge:

This TikTok trend came from Jungkook and Latto music called “Seven” In this video Jungkook danced, and many repacted this dance and posted using the sound.

Get ready with me:

Getting ready with me is simple. All you do is record yourself doing skin care, doing makeup, or doing your hair. Many people’s beauty creators love the idea and it became their whole page with new videos coming out every day.

The Roman Empire trend:

This trend was to ask your significant other more, specifically your husband or boyfriend, how often they think about the Roman Empire. They would usually all say regularly, which led the trend to gain popularity.

He’s a 10 out of 10 but…:

This TikTok trend is one that was meant to be relatable when girls and their friends shared their opinions about someone they’ve had an encounter with. For example, He’s a 10 out of 10 but he has a mustache, and then they would respond with that he’s a 5/10.
