With singer and actor Ariana Grande coming into the limelight at the young age of 17, her whole life has been broadcasted: including her many promiscuous choices. Her first relationship with boyfriend Graham Phillips was thankfully boring. The couple dated for four years from 2008-2011, with the relationship mutually fizzling out. The start of Grande’s history of infidelity was relationship with Australian singer Jai Brooks. Meeting on Twitter mid-2012 and pursuing a long-distance relationship, the couple officially met in December of the same year. Breaking up only eight months later, Brooks publicly accused Grande of cheating on him with Nathan Sykes. This rumor was confirmed when Grande went public with the relationship, however, she broke up with him five months later. Then there was Mac Miller. Grande and Miller dated for around two years, however just four months after their split, Miller died of an accidental drug overdose. Miller’s death had a great toll on Grande—some even argue it was the inciting factor to the promiscuous relationships following (however the former relationship with Jai Brooks proves this false). The first homewreck by Grande was with rapper Big Sean. Late star and fiancee of the time, Naya Rivera, stated that she came home one day to find Grande in her bed. Grande and Big Sean ended up dating for eight months. Post Big Sean, the singer had a quick and uneventful relationship with backup dancer Ricky Alvarez. Although Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande first started dating in the off periods of her relationship with Miller, they officially got together and dated/were engaged for five months before calling it off.
This year started with Grande splitting from Dalton Gomez, whom she spent quarantine with and then married, however they divorced just one year later in January of this year. What Grande is most known for is her current relationship with Broadway star Ethan Slater. The two met on the set of Wicked The Musical—which they will be performing in together—however, Slater had a wife of four years when he was first introduced to Grande. This didn’t stop her though, as the pair quickly became close friends, going on “dates” and constantly being seen together. Slater and ex-wife Lilly Jay had a newborn, born August 2022, and would constantly post instagram pictures with each other expressing their love and gratitude. However, shortly after Slater started being witnessed out and about with Grande, he filed a divorce from Jay in July 2023.
