With deft resilience and empathy, junior Polina Semikhat makes for a great friend, student, and all around human being. Whether it be giving it her all on the basketball court or hanging with friends after school, Polina is always doing her part in the Westmont community.
What activities/sports do you do at Westmont?
Basketball, and I am an avid member of Rooting ForEarth and Anjali’s fantabulous book club. I might do field hockey.
What do you enjoy about each of these activities?
The people. How fun it is. I make so many loving connections with the people on the basketball team and especially at Anjali’s book club. I love playing scattergories I look forward to it.
What are some hobbies/things you enjoy doing outside of school or in your free time?
I wait for Anjali’s bookclub to start.
Favorite thing about Westmont?
I like the rallies. The games are fun. Anjali’s book club meetings.
Anything else interesting you want to share?
I like Mr. Graydon, he’s my biggest inspiration. Oh, and Anjali’s bookclubs.
