The girls basketball team ended the season with a fight. Captains Sydney Reese and Chantel Tran helped lead the team throughout the season, always keeping a positive attitude even when things weren’t going their way. The girl’s overall league record was 4-6. Senior Taylor Casillas reflects, “I’d say my favorite part of the season was senior night because even though it was sad, it was nice to see all the support we had.” Junior Coco Dougher recounts one of the team’s fun Friday practices stating, “I love this team like no other, we are always cheering each other on, even during crab soccer tournaments.” Junior Bianca Hayes adds, “this group of girls gives support worth a million. A shot goes up and everyone gets up.”
