Super Bowl Monday

By Cynthia Andary

Known as Super Bowl Sunday, each year on the second Sunday of February there is a game between the top two teams in the NFL. This day is unofficially considered a national holiday. However, I believe that the day after should be reserved as a holiday for the two teams’ cities. This national holiday will include the day off school and no work. This will allow fans to recuperate from the nerves of the day before. Some say it is best to move the Superbowl to the Sunday before Presidents day because most schools have the day off. This would be the easiest solution so that there will be no need to change laws.
