As the winter months continue, the varsity cheer team continues to compete and prepare for nationals on February 10-12 in Orlando, Florida. After a season filled with injuries, the team continues to work hard and redo the routine to prepare for nationals. Senior Kate Merrick states, “we’ve had a season full of ups and downs, but we’ve all become much more flexible, and are learning the power of perseverance.” After winning their last competition, TCC-CIF NorCal Regional Championships, on January 28, the team prepares for their final competition, UCA Nationals.
