Deshuan Watson, a former NFL star quarterback for the Houston Texans, was charged with 20 counts of sexual assault. A grand jury in Harris County, Texas actually ruled Watson not guilty and exonerated him of all charges relating to the claims of sexual misconduct leveled against him. He was suspended by the NFL for 11 games and was fined 5 million dollars in a settlement. He was traded from the Houston Texans to the Cleveland Browns, and they signed him to a massive 5-year, $230 million contract which featured a $44.965 million signing bonus and a 2022 salary of $1.035 million. He will return to play in week 13 of the current NFL season to play his former team the Houston Texans… coincidence? (or not). On top of him already having to fight the sexual assault charges, he was pulled over doing 97 MPH in a 70 MPH zone in June of 2022, which was just put out to the public on October 20, 2022 . Deshuan Watson doesn’t appear to be having a very pleasant holiday season.
