Westmont’s Varsity Football team has started off their season better than ever before. The team currently stands at a record of 5-0, ready for more wins. With this impressive streak of wins, The Warriors placed 1st of the Santa Teresa B-League. On Thursday, September 22, the team battled against the Leland Chargers, working hard to earn a close 35-31 win. Leland being one of the biggest competitors in A-league, this was a big achievement for the team. In the previous years under head coach Mark Kaanapu Westmont has never been 5-0 in the start of the season.This season for the Westmont Varsity Football team looks like it is going to be one for the records.
