Each year, Westmont ASB puts on our annual Homecoming Week in early October, which includes a week filled with spirit days, lunchtime activities, a football game, and of course the dance. This year’s homecoming week is taking place from October 3 to 8 and the theme is “Westmont’s Gone Global.” Within the overall theme, each class has its own city they represent through lip sync and rally corner. This year’s seniors are representing Santorini, Greece, the juniors are representing Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, the sophomores are representing Cancun, Mexico and the freshmen are representing London, England. Here are the following spirit days and events that will be occurring each day:
- Thursday, September 29: Freshmen vs. Sophomore power puff in the bowl.
- Tuesday, October 4: Airport outfit and bring your suitcase day and SR vs. JR power puff game during lunch in the bowl.
- Wednesday, October 5: Tourist day and FR and SO lip sync during lunch in the quad.
- Thursday, October 6: Class color day and SR and JR lip sync will take place, homecoming rally at night in the gym.
- Friday, October 7: Westmont pride gear day and hoco football game vs. Sobrato will kick off at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, October 8: Homecoming dance: “Evening in Venice” at Westmont.
Dress up for spirit days and participate in rally games to gain points for your class in order to get a chance to win the Wally Cup at the end of the year!
