Mac and cheese: the childhood staple that will always be delicious. Personally, I would eat mac and cheese almost every day throughout elementary and middle school, so when I learned that I could no longer eat it at the beginning of freshman year I was more than devastated. Creamy, warm, and familiar—mac and cheese is a craveable classic; when I heard about Annie’s vegan mac, I raced to my local Safeway to try. I do not know the ingredients of this pasta, and I don’t want to know, because this delicious dish tastes more like mac and cheese than real mac and cheese does. The mix of the powdered cheese-like sauce and your choice of vegan milk (I like almond milk), makes the most delectable cuisine I have ever tasted.
