Finishing up the season strong, the Westmont Track and Field team reaches the final stretch with the title “League Champs” right under their noses. The boys track and field team won the quad meet against Leland, Santa Teresa, and Evergreen High Schools. That win put them in first place in the Mount Hamilton Athletic League (MHAL). They have MHAL trials and finals coming up on 4/27 and 4/29 at Leigh High School to determine their final standings.
The girls team fought hard in their last quad meet, but sadly faced defeat. In all the previous dual meets, they beat every team, leaving them undefeated. But in the quad meet, they suffered a painful loss against Santa Teresa by two points. But not all hope is lost, the girls have a chance to pull through at the MHAL trials and finals and claim the title of League Champs. Come and support your fellow warriors at Leigh High School to watch the MHAL trials and finals at 3pm!
