Goodbye Joe

After 9 seasons of starring alongside Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and Brian Quinn, Joe Gato has decided to leave the hit comedy show “Impractical Jokers” in order to focus on fatherhood. Breaking the news to the world via an Instagram post, Joe wrote on the importance of raising his children, as well as the impact the show has had on his life, and others.

“Outside of my family, my relationships with Murr, Q, and Sal have been the most important in my life, I know they will continue to make this world laugh,” Joe wrote. He then goes on to write about the decision he and his wife made to amicably part ways, saying that there are still no hard feelings. Leaving the show will help him raise and co-parent their two kids.

In a joint statement released on social media, Quinn, Murray, and Vulcano addressed Gatto’s decision. “After all these years together, we never imagined making Impractical Jokers without Joe. While we are saddened to see him go, we want to keep making people laugh, keep our relationship with the Impractical Jokers fans going, and keep working with the members of our team we consider family.”
