As we transition from fall into winter, Westmont is starting to see new sports begin their seasons. For junior Angel Blanco, this means wrestling. Although Westmont has only had one meet so far, five of our wrestlers have placed in the top three for their respective weight classes. Angel, on the other hand, is currently undefeated, having won all five of his matches. Along with these accomplishments, two more Westmont wrestlers, Sara Vela and Jazibel Vega, placed first and second place respectively for their weight classes at the Overfelt Lady Royal Wrestling Tournament. Congratulations to the Westmont Wrestling team for a great start to the season, and good luck during the rest of the season!
