Celery Sticks

By Eric Vallen

Nature’s spoon

Perfectly formed, molded by thousands of generations of farmers

Holding every possible aspect of life

An absolute parallel to Noah’s Ark

Stringy, in a chewing grass kind of way

Coarse, like eating fresh sandpaper

Crisp, akin to first sip of hose water on a summer’s day

In essence,

The one,

Only,

Perfect

Avenue of peanut butter consumption
