NFL Update

By Adam Sarsfield

Week 8 of the NFL has brought about more news on how the season may progress. The top standing for each AFC division stands at the Tennessee Titans at a solid 6-2 record while the Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Buffalo Bills are all tied at 5-2. For context on why the Titans have played a game more than all three of these teams, it is because all three have had or are in their bye week meaning they have had a week off to relax and train. The NFC division holds a higher top rating with the Arizona Cardinals, Las Angeles Rams, and the Green Bay Packers all holding an impressive 7-1 record. Following those performances comes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 6-2 and the Dallas Cowboys at 6-1. Big news that has happened during the season is the massive flop that is Saquon Barkley, running back for New York Giants, who has done horrifically throughout this season only having two good games and being injured for three weeks now. On the contrary Jalen Hurts, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles has done very well for his first year as a starting quarterback, however, the only problem is that the Eagles’ coaches are not so adamant about having Jalen throw consistently. Hopefully, these high-ranking teams maintain this good performance and continue to bring entertaining games to watch.
