After only a few months of dating, one of the famous Kardashian sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and drummer Travis Barker have recently announced their engagement. The once friendship blossomed to a relationship after years of living just around the corner of each other in Calabasas. Throughout 2018 and 2019, fans gushed over sightings of them together in LA but it wasn’t until January 2021 that the couple officially announced they were dating.
On October 16, 2021, we were all stunned by Kourtney’s instagram posts which displayed pictures of a grand engagement on the beach. Surrounded by dozens of roses, Travis got on one knee and proposed to Kourntey with a jaw dropping million dollar engagement ring.
The engagement has been supported by many fans, alongside the couple’s friends and family, but of course has still caused drama around both Kourtney and Travis’ ex’s. Kourtney shares 3 kids with ex Scott Disick, who had allegedly proposed to her last year. Fans of their relationship often joke about checking in on Scott as the engagement had to have been a sore subject. On the other hand, Travis was forced to cover up a tattoo of his ex’s name and has gotten some rude targets from past girlfriends in People’s magazine.
