On May 4, otherwise known as Star Wars Day, Disney+’newest exclusive show premiered: The Bad Batch. The show revolves around five clones and their lives during and after the events of episode III Revenge of the Sith. The show uses the same animation style as the Clone Wars tv show considering said clones were introduced to audiences in the final season of the Clone Wars which aired last year. At the time this article is being written, only two episodes have been released. According to the current release schedule, the show will continue to air every Friday until early August. Fans of the Clone Wars or Star Wars as a whole likely appreciate some new Star Wars content considering the content drought since the final episode of the Mandalorian nearly 5 months ago. Along with the remainder of the Bad Batch, Disney+ subscribers have much more to look forward to with a plethora of projects releasing in the near future. Marvel’s Loki premieres on June 11 and the long awaited Black Widow movie releases on July 9. In addition, fans can look forward to more projects such as Marvel’s Shang-Chi, The Eternals, and the third installment of Spider Man.
