Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen Producer Details the Creator's Involvement with the Anime

Idly indulging in baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, high schooler Yuuji Itadori spends his days at either the clubroom or the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the worse  when he unknowingly encounters a cursed item. Triggering a chain of supernatural occurrences, Yuuji finds himself suddenly thrust into the world of Curses—dreadful beings formed from human malice and negativity—after swallowing the said item, revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses.” Written by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series published in March of 2018. More recently, the manga has been adapted by animation studio MAPPA, gaining widespread traction among many anime fans. With the first season of the anime adaptation coming to an end, I can personally say I am extremely fond of the intricate story, well-designed characters, and fun to watch action scenes. As impatient as I am, I’ve made sure to follow the manga for an even more immersive experience. I highly recommend anyone to take a weekend to watch through Jujutsu Kaisen, an anime I just can’t seem to turn away.
